About Us
DSM Home Renovations has been a family business since 2001. Our founder, Domingo Schiappacasse, immigrated to the United States in hopes of making a better life for himself. With the background knowledge he gained from helping in his father's furnishing business back in Chile, he felt confident to start his own business in Montauk, New York. More than 20 years later, DSM Home Renovations remains a family business and has thrived, working with the community and it's people.
Our Three Important Letters:
D: for my father "Domingo Schiappacasse", who taught me how to build furniture but even more importantly build relationships with clients.
S: for my grandfather "Antonio Schiappacasse" who was from Rapallo, Italy. He moved to Chile in 1942, which is where I got my immigrant spirit, leading me to move to the U.S. in 1997. Now I am a U.S Citizen and have raised a beautiful family, business, and life. ​
M: for my other grandfather "Carlos Mena", who taught me a lot about all the phases of construction, and told me to be a better person every day.
